First I would like to thank all of you for supporting me in 2011. It was a tough and trying year, but with your help I made it through with my head up and a happy spirit.
I researched and analyzed, and learner that there are a number of you that follow my photography faithfully. Whether it's visiting my site, following me on Facebook or Twitter, or you've subscribed to my newsletter (which is also changing-so join the email list-if you don't recent the emails, you are missing exclusive information, specials, and coupons that are not in the online posts). In whatever capacity it was, you've gotten familiar with a few things. Also you've noticed a lot of changes. The biggest changes have been my newest logo and my website redesign.

With my logo, I wanted something versatile and informative. I've tried symbols and letters and words, anything I could, with little satisfaction. This time I decided to take a different approach. instead of designing a logo, I designed an "information card". This is the first logo that includes my name and business information. I'm satisfied with it, and I will probably keep it for a while. So get used to this one, at least for 6 months.
Secondly, I realized my website itself was "doing too much". I felt I needed a link to everything in hopes visitors would go everywhere. But I realized that made the site confusing. There were too many links, too many pages, too many everything and not enough understanding.
I decided to streamline the site and only post headings to the "important" sections with links to additional pages such as news, galleries and social media.
In addition I removed the calender. I don't feel it was as accepted as I wanted it to be. But I still use it on my end. With that, all session and consultation request will have to come directly to me, rather than through a calender site.
Instead of giving you all the details, visit the site and explore. Give me advice and feedback. Let me know what you think. I'm still doing work on it, so any suggestion is helpful. I hope to have it all finalized by the end of March. Unless things change again and I take a whole new approach.
Thanks,
Evin L Grant
