Just recently I started receiving my first issues of Rangefinder and Popular Photography Magazine; which are both excellent resources for stay up to date on current photography matters. But also, there are times when I need to learn a new technique or refresh my memory on an old process that I forgot. Or I just want to get advice on a business model that may increase my profitability while providing better service to my clients.
Use your cheap and often FREE resources! Use the internet! Google. Use other photographers. I think I'm a member of three or more photography related groups on Facebook where I can interact and ask questions.
Lastly, READ! Why do photographers hate reading? I suppose that's why we take pictures. LOL! Reading is learning. I subscribe to the blogs of many different photography realated resources, such as, Expert Photography, Psychology for Photographer and Digital Photography School. FREE!!! You can too, just take the time to do it.
Your laziness to learn is reflected in the quality of your work. The knowledge of your craft. The progress of your business.
These are things you can be doing to keep your photography fresh and learn how to truly BE a photography rather than SAYING you are a photography.
